Product Description

Polyurea coatings are mainly composed of isocyanate components and polyether amines. The current raw materials for polyurea mainly consist of MDI, polyether polyols, polyether polyamines, amine chain extenders, various functional additives, pigments and fillers, and active diluents. Polyurea coatings have the characteristics of fast curing speed, quick construction speed, excellent anti-corrosion and waterproof performance, wide temperature range, and simple process. They are particularly suitable for various industrial and mining enterprises, parking lots, sports fields, etc., for floor coating with requirements for anti-slip, anti-corrosion and wear resistance.

Polyurea coatings

PRODUCT FEATURES

  • Superior wear resistance, scratch-resistant, longer service life;
  • It has better toughness than epoxy flooring, without peeling or cracking:
  • The surface friction coefficient is high, making it more slip-resistant than epoxy flooring.
  • One-coat film formation, quick drying, simple and fast construction:
  • Re-coating has excellent adhesion and is easy to repair.
  • Colours can be chosen freely. It is beautiful and bright. It is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Construction procedures

Sports Stand

  • 1. Basic surface treatment: Remove dust, oil stains, salt deposits, rust, and release agents from the base surface by sweeping first and then cleaning. After thorough grinding, vacuum dust collection is carried out.
  • 2. Special primer application: Roll apply the special primer for polyurea to seal the capillary pores, reduce coating defects, and increase the adhesion between the polyurea coating and the base surface.
  • 3. Patching with polyurea putty (depending on the base surface wear condition): Use the special patching material for polyurea to repair and level the base surface. After curing, use an electric grinding wheel to sand thoroughly and then use a vacuum cleaner to clean up.
  • 4. Roll apply the special primer for polyurea: Re-close the ground surface, significantly increasing the adhesion between the polyurea and the base.
  • 5. Spray polyurea waterproof coating: After testing the spray, spray in the order of top to bottom and then bottom, moving in a small area in a crosswise and longitudinal pattern. The coating thickness is 1.5-2mm. The spraying is completed in one go. Specific methods can be found in "Polyurea Engineering Coating Specifications". It plays a key role in waterproofing, is wear-resistant and slip-resistant.
  • 6. Spray/roll apply the special topcoat for polyurea: Mix the main agent and curing agent in proportion, stir thoroughly, and use the special roller to evenly roll the polyurea topcoat coating on the completely cured polyurea coating surface. It resists ultraviolet rays, prevents aging and color change.

Workshop floor

  • 1. Foundation treatment: Grind off the floating layer on the foundation, exposing the hard base surface. Ensure that the foundation reaches a grade of C25 or above, is flat and dry, dust-free, and does not re-sand. If there are honeycombs, rough surfaces, cracks, etc., then use repair materials to repair and level it to ensure durability.
  • 2. Polyurea primer application: Apply the polyurea special primer evenly on the foundation to seal the capillary pores on the surface, enhance the ground structure, reduce the defects in the coating after spraying, and increase the adhesion between the polyurea putty and cement, concrete floor. Wait until it is fully cured before proceeding to the next step of construction. If there is a large area of white exposure after application, it needs to be re-applied until the entire floor appears dark brown.
  • 3. Polyurea putty application: Apply the matching polyurea special putty evenly on the foundation to increase the floor flatness, seal the capillary pores that are not visible to the naked eye, and avoid the situation where the spraying of polyurea causes pinholes due to the capillary pores on the floor. Wait until it is fully cured before proceeding to the next step of construction.
  • 4. Polyurea primer application: On the cured polyurea putty, apply the polyurea primer evenly to effectively increase the adhesion between the sprayed polyurea layer and the polyurea putty.
  • 5. Spray polyurea construction: Within 24 hours after the primer cures, use professional spraying equipment to evenly spray polyurea. The surface of the coating should be smooth, without run-off, pinholes, bubbles, or cracking; for local damages or pinholes, manual polyurea repair can be used.
  • 6. Polyurea topcoat application: After the polyurea surface dries, apply the polyurea topcoat to prevent aging, discoloration, and enhance the wear resistance of the polyurea coating, protecting the polyurea coating.

Mining equipment

  • 1. Metal substrate, sandblasting for rust removal reaches SA2.5 standard. The surface is free of pollution dust, oil stains, etc. Different treatments are carried out according to the foundation.
  • 2. Primer spraying (to enhance the adhesion of polyurea to the foundation).
  • 3. Polyurea spraying construction (main functional protective layer. The thickness is generally recommended to be between 2mm and 5mm. Specific construction plans are provided according to the corresponding products).
  • 4. Topcoat brushing/spraying construction (anti-yellowing, UV resistance, increasing the variety of color requirements).
