Epoxy floor paint is a functional coating material mainly composed of epoxy resin and curing agent. Its application highly depends on the physical, chemical and hygiene requirements of the usage scenarios - for example, food factories need non-toxic certification, electronics factories need anti-static properties, and parking lots need pressure resistance and slip resistance.
Epoxy floor paint is mainly suitable for indoor clean, heavy-load, dust-proof and anti-corrosion industrial and public building places, such as electronics factories, pharmaceutical workshops, hospital operating rooms, underground parking lots, etc.; it cannot be used in outdoor environments that are exposed for a long time (because it is not resistant to ultraviolet rays).

Different types of epoxy floor coatings are suitable for different places. The key lies in "problem-oriented" selection:
- Epoxy flat coating floor: Suitable for areas with general dust prevention requirements and moderate foot traffic, such as ordinary workshops, offices, and supermarkets.
- Epoxy self-leveling floor: Used in GMP pharmaceutical factories, hospital operating rooms, laboratories, etc., in highly clean and sterile places.
- Epoxy anti-static floor: Specifically for electronic factories, computer rooms, aerospace control centers, etc., areas requiring the elimination of static electricity risks.
- Epoxy mortar wear-resistant floor: For factory workshops, warehouses, underground parking lots with heavy equipment and frequent forklift passage.
- Epoxy retro-style / colored sand floor: For commercial spaces that emphasize aesthetics, such as shopping malls, hotels, and exhibition centers.
- Epoxy micro-bead anti-slip floor: For parking ramps, swimming pool sides, auto repair shops, etc., places requiring high friction coefficient.
- Parking lots are a frequent and common scenario.
They can be addressed using either flat coating types (economical and durable), or with ultra-matte or micro-bead anti-slip types to meet the anti-slip requirements for slopes;
- Hospital scenarios need to be stratified to meet the needs:
operating rooms use self-leveling (sterile), wards use flat coating (easy to disinfect), and laboratories use anti-corrosive types (resistant to acids and alkalis);
- Chemical/pharmaceutical factories must match the types of corrosive media.
In environments with strong acids and strong alkalis, epoxy glass fiber reinforced plastic anti-corrosion systems must be selected.
